- A Work of Renewal for the Empty Talisman
- 1 Some time before His ascension, Sahng-jeh-nim had arrived at the Ee family’s memorial rites house and said, “I came here to conduct the work of the Empty Talisman.”
- 2 He then drew many talismans and burned them.
- 3 With this work, Sahng-jeh-nim withdrew the qi of enlightenment.
- 4 After His ascension, some disciples went there to practice meditation, but Jo Chul-jeh, who also had been meditating there, drove them away.
- 5 This was the beginning of confusing dharma outside of Sahng-jeh-nim’s dao.
