- A False Emperor
- 1 On the afternoon of May 20, 1926, Tae-mo-nim went to Gyung-suk’s house. Gyung-suk greeted Her and had a special meal brought out.
- 2 She called him by his first name as usual, and he said, “I am not the Gyung-suk that I was. Now, I am the leader of many people. Please refrain from using familiar names from the past.”
- 3 Tae-mo-nim said, “You call yourself an emperor, but you are a false emperor!” With this, She picked up a pear and threw it at him, striking the back of his neck.
- 4 Gyung-suk fled from the room, then some of his female followers rushed in and dragged Tae-mo-nim outside.
- 5 After this, Tae-mo-nim and Her disciples left for home.
