- Shee-ru, the Biggest Container
- 1 One day, Sahng-jeh-nim asked several disciples, “Do you know how a rice cake cooks in a shee-ru?” No one was able to answer.
- 2 “When you cook a rice cake in a shee-ru, steam rises up around the edges. Thus, the edges cook first and the center cooks last.
- 3 When the center is cooked, the shee-ru’s job is done.”
- 4 He continued, “There is no container in the world bigger than the shee-ru. Pour into it all the water from the Yellow River. No matter how much you pour, it will never be filled.
- 5 Not even all the water in the Yellow River could fill it. The shee-ru is the biggest container in the world.”
