• the Seven Stars Program for Long Life Without Aging
  • In September, Sahng-jeh-nim wrote a mirror image of the following on seven pieces of paper:
  • 病 自己而發
  • Disease shoots out of oneself.
  • 葬死病衰旺冠帶浴生養胎胞
  • Burial, death, disease, debilitation, flourishing, crowning, clothing, bathing, birth, gestation, formation of an embryo, conception.
  • After folding and sealing each paper, He gave them to Hyung-yul. He told Hyung-yul, “Go to Jeonju, and whenever you meet someone you know, give them one of these papers. Return before nightfall.”
  • When disciples asked the meaning of the writing, Sahng-jeh-nim said, “Even if I told you, you would not understand. Only after it is published will you understand it.”
  • Hyung-yul went to Jeonju and gave papers to five people: Gim Nahk-bum, Gim Byung-ook, Gim Gwahng-chahn, Gim Joon-chahn, and Gim Yoon-geun.
  • But he failed to find two more people he knew. Not wanting to disobey the order that he should return before nightfall, he left Jeonju. When he returned, Sahng-jeh-nim rebuked him. “You live in this land, but you do not even know seven people?”
  • Sahng-jeh-nim told Hyung-yul to spread a straw mat in the middle of the yard, place a jar of fresh water on the center of the mat, and burn the remaining two pieces of paper.
  • Hyung-yul did this and then asked the reason behind it.
  • 10 Sahng-jeh-nim said, “I was conducting a work for the Seven Stars Program.”
