• The Qi of Bool-ga-jee Village
  • Sahng-jeh-nim said to Chee-bohk and other disciples, “Bool-ga-jee means ‘a place where Buddha can stay.’
  • Because Bool-ga-jee Village has been known as a place that can save many people, I will use its qi in saving humanity.”
  • Carried in a sedan chair, He went to Bool-ga-jee Village. On the way, He recited an old poem:
  • 金屋瓊房視逆旅 石門苔璧儉爲師
  • Know that a house of gold and a room of jewels
    are but a traveler’s lodge.
    Follow a humble life
with a stone gate and walls covered in moss.
  • 絲桐焦尾誰能解 竹管絃心自不離
  • Who can know the sound of the guh-moon-go?
In harmony, the bamboo flute and the guh-moon-go
    are not separable.
  • 匏落曉星霜可履 土墻春柳日相隨
  • When the evening stars descend and the morning star rises,
you step out onto the frost.
Day by day, the earthen wall and the spring willow
    draw closer together.
  • 革援瓮畢有何益 木殯耕牛宜養蓬
  • What benefit are the accomplishments
of Ma Yuan and Bi Zhuo?
Develop a great sense of purpose
while tilling the field with ox and plow.
