• Spirits Always Guard Sahng-jeh-nim
  • A disciple asked, “Teacher, when You go out during the day, there is a halo around the sun; when You go out during the night, there is a halo around the moon. This lets us know You are about to go out.
  • Also, at the entrance of the village, the clouds form two lines in the shape of the chinese character eight (八). Why do these things happen?”
  • Sahng-jeh-nim answered, “The spirits use the halos around the sun and moon to inform Me that everything is ready. The clouds formed into two lines at the entrance are a gate made by the commander spirits.”
  • Spirits Show Their Reverence for Sahng-jeh-nim
  • Sahng-jeh-nim and some disciples boarded a small boat at Mohk-chun Port in Ee-ree County.
  • He Himself rowed the boat. In the sky, a cloud took on the shape of a boat being rowed.
  • Looking at it, Sahng-jeh-nim said, “I cannot make a single private movement or have a single private moment of stillness.”
  • One of His disciples said, “Teacher, when You go out after it has rained, the muddy ground hardens immediately. When You are walking on the grassy paths in the mountains, the dew does not make You wet. When You are out traveling on a hot summer day, a cloud keeps You cool by blocking the sun like a parasol. Why is this so?”
  • “That is how the spirits show their reverence for Me.”
