- The Earth Collapses in the Im-ohk Region
- 1 Starting in 1933, two years before Tae-mo-nim’s ascension, She occasionally said, “In 1935, the earth will collapse in Im-ohk.”
- 2 Most of the disciples did not understand what She meant by this and did not pay much attention to it. Jun Sun-pil, however, kept these words in his mind.
- 3 One day in 1935, when he recalled what Tae-mo-nim had said, Sun-pil hiked up Bool Hill in Im-shil County and looked toward Ohk-gu County, worrying that the land would collapse.
- 4 Several times more, he went up the hill and looked toward Ohk-gu until the sun went down, but the ground never did collapse.
- 5 Several months later, when Tae-mo-nim passed away, Sun-pil finally realized that She had been referring to Her own ascension.
