• Heaven and Earth Are All Mine
  • After leaving Oon-sahn Village, they passed through Su-geum Village and arrived at Da-nae Village, where Sahng-jeh-nim said to the policeman in charge,
  • “You must be hungry. We are hungry, too. Why don’t we eat something here and then move on?
  • We are already under arrest. That money you confiscated belongs to Me. I won’t ask you to pay for the food. I will pay for everybody’s food.”
  • Since the police had not slept the previous night and had not eaten any breakfast, he agreed and unbound Sahng-jeh-nim and the disciples.
  • At an inn, Sahng-jeh-nim called for the owner and had two whole pigs cooked and many pots of wine brought out. Everyone ate his fill.
  • As they were about to leave, Sahng-jeh-nim suddenly stood up, opened His arms wide toward the sky, and yelled, “Heaven and earth are all Mine!”
  • When the group was passing through the marketplace in Go-bu County, the sellers talked among themselves about these people dressed in fine clothes.
  • They said, “If such distinguished people were arrested, Go-bu must really be falling into chaos. How can we expect to be safe?” Everyone was afraid.
  • At that time, armed resistance groups were rising against the Japanese everywhere. People were easily agitated. It was, indeed, a fearful time.
