  • One day, while passing by Yohng-hwa Village with Gohng-ooh, Sahng-jeh-nim said, “This place will be the Yohng-hwa Dojang. Later, when a person emerges from this place, befriend him.”
  • On another occasion, pointing to Gyeh-ryohng Peak behind the village, Sahng-jeh-nim said, “That place is the bellows. You should step on it often to make the wind blow.”
  • On yet another occasion, pointing at the village, He said to Ahn Pil-sung, “That site resembles a dragon lying down. A dragon needs horns.”
  • Respect the Authority of the Dae-du-mohk
  • One day, Sahng-jeh-nim said, “Gohng-ooh, when the time comes, you will be unable to enter the place in which I reside unless the right person allows it.”
  • He continued, “Gohng-ooh, if someone is younger than you, but has a higher position and greater virtue, treat that person with respect when you meet.”
