- Enlightenment According to Capacity
- 2 “I will grant enlightenment based on each person’s degree of cultivation. On the day the seeds of enlightenment are sown, those on the highest level will take seven days, the middle level fourteen days, and the lowest level twenty-one days to attain enlightenment.
- 3 Feeding too much to one with a small stomach will cause death as the stomach ruptures. Feeding too little to one with a large stomach will cause starvation.
- 4 Enlightenment will be given to everyone according to their capacities.”
- The Three Levels
- 5 Sahng-jeh-nim said, “There are three levels in the study of My dao.
- 6 Those at the upper level will direct all matters with the power of their minds.
- 7 Those at the middle level will direct matters with spoken words.
- 8 Those at the lower level, though possessing the knowledge of all things, will direct matters with written words.”
