- 1 Go Gwun-pil was forty years old and still childless.
- 2 Though he was married, Tae-mo-nim said to him, “You are a bachelor, but you will not be much longer.” His wife became pregnant within that month and later gave birth to a son.
- 3 Gahng Chil-sung of Jo-johng Village lamented that he did not have a child.
- 4 Tae-mo-nim said to him, “Believe in Me and pray in earnest.”
- 5 She visited his house on three consecutive evenings, and soon after, his wife became pregnant and gave birth to a son.
