- With Proper Faith, Enlightenment Opens Naturally
- 1 On March 27, a disciple named Nahm Sahng-dohn from Sahm-dahm Village came to see Tae-mo-nim.
- 2 She said to him, “Do you fervently desire to be enlightened? Do not desire it.
- 3 If you have faith, enlightenment will open to you naturally. Do not have such futile expectations.”
- The Door to Enlightenment
- 6 Go Min-hwahn, who had for so long served Tae-mo-nim well, one day returned home and was struck by the desire to seek enlightenment.
- 7 Since his family was wealthy, he was able to obtain a great sum of money. On his way to a mountain to pursue his study, he visited Tae-mo-nim.
- 8 She said, “Where are you going? Your Father closed the door to enlightenment. There is no enlightenment at this time. Stay by My side. There is only the study of cultivating your mind. All people will attain enlightenment at the same time. You need only to stay here and maintain the house.”
