- 1 Sahng-jeh-nim stayed awhile with Gohng-ooh in Su-tohng-mohk Village.
- 2 Ee Doh-sahm came one day and said, “Nearby in Buh-deul Village, a tiger attacked and dragged away a woman about twenty years old. Everyone is afraid.”
- 3 Sahng-jeh-nim, who was lying in the front room, sat up and said to Gohng-ooh, “Go out and see if the Animal Stars are visible in the sky.”
- 4 Gohng-ooh went out and reported that the stars could be seen. Sahng-jeh-nim hit the floor with a wooden headrest, saying, “Animal Stars, why do you harm people?”
- 5 The next day, the woman came back alive, clothes torn, but hardly injured.
