- A Bond with Monk Jin-pyo
- 1 One day, Sahng-jeh-nim said, “I have a deep bond with Jin-pyo.”
- Maitreya Buddha, the Reforming Buddha
- 3 Sahng-jeh-nim went to Geum-sahn Temple so often that it was as if He lived there. When He visited, the monks would offer prayers, chanting, “Maitreya Buddha, Maitreya Buddha.”
- 4 In April, on the way to the temple, Sahng-jeh-nim and some disciples were passing by Gyeh-ryohng Peak, when He said,
- 5 “Taejeon is the field where the dragon appears. And this place is where the dragon flies in the sky.”
- 6 After arriving at the temple, Sahng-jeh-nim conducted a work of renewal in which He said, “Maitreya Buddha is the Reforming Buddha.”
- 7 On another visit, He said, “This place will be shaved clean.” And He performed rites at the Sahm-sung Shrine and a few other shrines.
- Heavenly, Earthly, and Human Emperors
- 8 One day, Sahng-jeh-nim wrote:
- 天皇地皇人皇後 天下之大金山寺
- After the Heavenly Emperor, Earthly Emperor, and Human Emperor convey their dao, Geum-sahn Temple will be the greatest place under heaven.
- Born with a Purpose
- 9 “Everybody has a purpose. Spirits from heaven about to be born into this world are told, ‘You are to do this. You are to do that.’”
- (JSD Dojeon 3,69)
