- Preparing the Medicine Room
- 4 After moving the cabinet and the chest into the medicine room, Sahng-jeh-nim told Gim Gahp-chil to sweep the room early in the morning every day.
- 5 Sahng-jeh-nim hung a rope across the door of the medicine room and, for many days, forbade anyone else to enter.
- 6 He did not use the room until twenty-one days later when He brought in copies of Tongjian, Shuzhuan, and I Ching. Then, He bought a pestle and mortar, an herb cutter, and other implements for making medicine.
- 7 Sahng-jeh-nim said, “I Ching is the book to be used at the time of gae-byuk. If you read I Ching, you will know My work.”
