- Sahng-jeh-nim Issues Commands to Spirits of All Nations
- 1 In the winter of 1908, Sahng-jeh-nim performed some of the work of renewing heaven and earth in Dae-heung Village. For many days, He summoned spirits and issued royal commands.
- 2 He would sit in His room alone, not allowing anyone to enter. The sound of trotting horses could be heard, and He would say that spirits from a particular country had arrived.
- 3 He would give orders to the spirits for many hours.
- 6 Because He spoke in different languages to the spirits from different countries, the disciples could not understand a word.
- 7 One of the disciples said, “During this work, You have called upon the spirits of all nations and given orders to them. Please let us know what the orders were.”
“When the time comes,” Sahng-jeh-nim replied, “you will know.”
- A Nation for Each Tribe
- 8 A disciple asked, “How could there be so many countries?”
- 9 Sahng-jeh-nim answered, “In the coming world, each tribe will have its own country.”
- 10 The disciple then asked, “When the day of enlightenment comes, will we be able to fluently speak all the languages of the world?”
