- 6 They did not hesitate to execute civilians if there was any reason to suspect them. The disciples were afraid as they marched by, but though they passed the Japanese barracks again on their way back,
- 7 neither the Japanese soldiers nor the people living near the barracks were aware of the disciples’ activities.
- 8 After the march, Sahng-jeh-nim treated the disciples and the villagers to rice and soup using the money He had previously prepared. He said to them, “You have marched very well tonight.”
