- 1 In April, while staying at Gim Ju-bo’s house on Yohng-muh-ree Hill in Jeonju, Sahng-jeh-nim conducted a great work of renewal.
- 2 Ee Chee-bohk and Chae Sa-yoon arrived during the work.
- 3 Sahng-jeh-nim said to them, “There has been no rain this year. If it does not rain today, an auspicious place called Winter Melon will dry up and die.
- 4 I will summon a rain spirit from the West to bring rain.”
- 5 Sahng-jeh-nim called for some wine, offered Chee-bohk two cups, and poured another cup into a chamber pot in which there was some blood.
