- The Program of Qu Boyu
- 1 After completing the nine-year work of renewing heaven and earth, Sahng-jeh-nim wrote the following on a piece of paper:
- 布敎五十年工夫終筆
- The completion of a fifty-year practice of conveying truth through writing
- Then, He burned the paper.
- 2 He said to the disciples, “Qu Boyu of ancient times was said to have realized at fifty that he had been wrong for the previous forty-nine years. I used this as a program for the future.
- 3 I have redirected the flow of heaven and earth and firmly fixed the programs for the future without allowing a single drop of water to escape. When the proper time comes, a new framework will be founded.
- 4 Be careful not to go astray. Keep your faith with one mind.
- 5 I will now have heaven and earth ratify My nine-year work of renewal.
- 6 Bear witness to this and strengthen your faith.
- 7 Heaven and earth, having no words, express themselves through thunder and earthquakes.”
- 8 Sahng-jeh-nim wrote something on paper and burned it. Suddenly, thunder roared and the earth trembled.
