- Su-bu-nim, the Mother of All People
- 1 Sahng-jeh-nim said to Cha Yoon-chil, “Take care of your cousin. If She starves, the world will starve.
- 2 If She eats, the world will eat. If She weeps, the world will weep.
- 3 If She sighs, the world will sigh. If She is happy, the world will be happy.”
- When Su-bu-nim Attains Enlightenment
- 4 Sahng-jeh-nim often stroked Su-bu-nim’s back, saying, “You are a blessed child.
- 5 You will attain enlightenment soon and will eventually become the head of all people.”
- 6 One day, Sahng-jeh-nim said to Hyung-yul, “The character sahng (祥) in the term dae-sahng means ‘auspicious.’”
