- Go Sohng-ahm’s Plot
- 1 On their way to Jeonju County, Sahng-jeh-nim and Bahk Gohng-ooh stopped for lunch in Swey-nae Village.
- 2 Gohng-ooh led Sahng-jeh-nim to a friend’s house where they could eat. The friend was a follower of Go Sohng-ahm.
- 3 In the middle of the meal, Sahng-jeh-nim suddenly said, “I drove away the qi of the West, but there was a sign of it coming back again. I thought this strange. I did not know that in a back room someone was engaged in another matter.”
- 4 Then, he said to Gohng-ooh, “Go over to Go Sohng-ahm’s house and offer your condolences on his death.”
- 5 Sahng-jeh-nim changed the position of the syllables moon-gohk in the Chil-sung-gyung Mantra and locked the gate of enlightenment.
