and Blessings and Wealth
- 1 On a piece of paper, Sahng-jeh-nim wrote the following and gave it to Bahk Gohng-ooh:

地人 地地 地天
人人 人地 人天
- Heaven human, heaven earth, heaven heaven,
Earth human, earth earth, earth heaven,
Human human, human earth, human heaven.
- 3 As He gave the paper, Sahng-jeh-nim said, “Paste this on a wall in Shin Gyung-su’s house.
- 4 I designate his house as the Center for Longevity. When meeting people, you must see only the good in them and genuinely like them.
- 5 Even if they have obvious shortcomings, forgive them generously and do not bear any ill feeling toward them.”
- 6 Gohng-ooh was given these instructions because he was living at Shin Gyung-su’s house.
- 7 Sahng-jeh-nim explained to Hyung-yul, “All laws come from the capital and spread across the land from there. For this reason, the qi of a person whose name contains the word gyung (京) must be used.
- 8 That is why I designate Gyung-su’s house as the Center for Longevity.”
- 9 Then, He appointed Gim Gyung-hahk’s house as the Center for Great Learning. “I have appointed his house as the Center for Great Learning because hahk (學) in his name means ‘to learn.’”
- 10 Finally, He appointed Shin Gyung-wun’s house as the Center for Blessings and Wealth.
