  • Whenever clothes were made for Sahng-jeh-nim, He would have the seamstress include inner pockets, whether the clothes were thick or thin. These inner pockets hung like a money belt.
  • In a pocket on the right, He would keep a cloth for washing Ho-yun. In a left pocket, He carried a stick of dry ink.
  • Sometimes, He would carry half a stick; at other times, He would carry a whole stick.
  • He would dissolve the ink in water and write with a brush or a young sprout of cogon grass.
  • In one of His pockets, He would carry sheets of paper folded like a notebook.
  • Sahng-jeh-nim played His jade flute before He went anywhere. On His way back, He would often sit and play His flute again.
