- Tae-mo-nim Blesses a Man with the Ability to Heal
- 1 On March 26, 1927, Gim Bohng-ooh, Gim Jae-yoon, and Ee Yohng-ghee of Jahng-yun Village came to see Tae-mo-nim.
- 2 When She asked Bohng-ooh how his life was going, he replied that things were quite difficult. “It should not be so,” Tae-mo-nim said.
- 3 She held his hand and asked, “Is My hand warm?” He answered that it was.
- 4 She then said, “Go home and heal the sick.”
- 5 When he returned home, he heard that the wife of Bahk Suh-ohk of the neighboring village was dying of a sudden illness.
- 6 Bohng-ooh ran over to see her. He offered a bowl of fresh water, prayed with one mind, and chanted a mantra. After he did this, the woman was healed.
