- A Work of Renewal for the Human Horse
- 1 Sometimes, when many followers gathered for a chee-sung, they witnessed Tae-mo-nim riding around on Gahng Wun-sup’s back as if he were a human horse.
- 2 Wun-sup, who lived in Jo-johng Village, was also known as Baek-ho, meaning “White Tiger.”
- 3 When Tae-mo-nim wanted to ride on his back, She called out toward the village, “Baek-ho! Baek-ho!”
- 4 As soon as he heard Her call, he ran to Her. She would then command, “Make a human horse.”
- 5 He would kneel, and She would get on his back. He would then stand and get ready to gallop.
- 6 Tae-mo-nim would slap him on the hip as if whipping a horse, then ride about the village, circling the guardian trees in the middle, and shout, “Baek-ho! Run. Yah! Faster!”
