- Tae-mo-nim Brings Rain to Prevent a Famine
- 1 One day, Tae-mo-nim said to the disciples, “People are hungry because of two years of drought.” She then performed a ritual for abundant water.
- 2 The village musicians were invited to loudly and merrily perform traditional music and dance. Tae-mo-nim then placed a bowl of fresh water in each of the four directions and one in the center of the yard.
- 3 She had a large feast of food and wine prepared and offered it to all present.
- 4 She then said, “Now people will be able to get through the famine.”
