- Granting Blessings, Wealth, and Longevity Equally to All
- 1 On March 26, 1929, after a chee-sung, Tae-mo-nim gathered dozens of male and female followers and announced,
- 2 “Since everything depends on the Seven Stars, I will perform a work of renewal concerning the middle heaven.
- 3 In the Early Heaven, the life span of a person was determined by Myung-bu. But in the Later Heaven, the realm of the middle heaven spirits will assume this responsibility and determine everyone’s longevity with fairness and equality.
- 4 Throughout the fifty thousand years of the Later Heaven, heaven and earth will grant blessings and wealth equally and plentifully.”
- 5 Looking up at the sky, She called out, “Middle heaven spirits! Middle heaven spirits! Middle heaven spirits!”
- 6 In the sky, there was a cloud in the shape of a person with head bowed as if having received an order.
- The Middle Heaven Spirits Determine Living and Dying
- 7 One day, Tae-mo-nim said, “Chant the Chil-sung-gyung Mantra time and time again.
- 8 Living and dying are determined by the middle heaven spirits; your ancestors’ path will open when you pray to the middle heaven spirits.”
- 9 She also said, “In 1902, when Sahng-jeh-nim conducted a work of renewal concerning Myung-bu, He dissolved Myung-bu of the Early Heaven and established Myung-bu of the Later Heaven.”
