- The Dae-du-mohk Emerges Through the Sook-gu-jee Program
- 1 After Sahng-jeh-nim established the Sook-gu-jee Program in a work of renewal concerning dao affairs, He said, “When a sleeping dog wakes, it can catch a tiger.”
- 2 In September 1928, Tae-mo-nim said, “The time is near. Let us wake the sleeping dog.” She went with dozens of disciples to Sook-gu-jee Village.
- 3 In this work of renewal, Tae-mo-nim had thirty linen shirts made and gave them to the farmhands in that village. She filled a large bowl with beef soup, mixed rice into it, placed the bowl on the ground, and said, “Eat as much as you like.”
- 4 She then declared, “We have awakened the sleeping dog. Now there will be no more worries.”
