- Yielding for a Woman
- 1 One day, Sahng-jeh-nim and His disciples were walking to Tae-in County when a woman approached from the opposite direction. Sahng-jeh-nim stepped aside and looked away, and only continued walking after she had passed.
- 2 The disciples asked, “In the Early Heaven, women have stood clear of men’s paths. In the Later Heaven, will men yield the road to women?”
- 3 Sahng-jeh-nim said, “Since I have yielded the road to a woman, you should do the same from now on.”
