- 1 One day, while conducting a work of renewal, Sahng-jeh-nim said, “You will live only if there is the Venerable Seed That Mediates Immortality.
- 2 Establishing this program will require an offering of ripe fruits of three different colors and the blood from a girl’s first menstruation.”
- 3 Then, He said to Hyung-yul, “I will put the pulse of immortality in Ho-yun’s hands.”
Sahng-jeh-nim then made an offering to heaven and earth and said,
- 4 “All people are born of their mothers, but when the pulse stops, they die.
- 5 If Ho-yun dies, there will be no witness. That would be tragic.
- 6 To continue the pulse of My dao, I have raised Ho-yun, the Venerable Seed That Mediates Immortality.”
